The event celebrates the procurement innovation in GSA’s new FAS organization and its programs. This evening is the night honoring FAS, its customers, and its contractors. Attendees include contractors and government personnel. It also provides a great networking event with a cocktail reception followed by a dinner.

This program provides great opportunities to keep your profile high in front of GSA’s new FAS organization and its programs. This year is the 9th year of the event. Attendance has grown by 100% since it begin in 2000. Attendees include highly regarded GSA executives, industry partners, and many others. In 2007, the event sold out with 43 companies providing sponsorship and participation. It is a highly visible way to show your support for FAS.

The event is black tie optional. We'd love it if you showed up in a tux or gown, but business dress is also acceptable. However, Coalition staff will be dressed up along with many others. So here's your chance to dress up with the finest.

A room block is being held at the The Hilton Arlington on October 21, 22, and 23 since the Fall Conference will be held there on October 22 and 23. You must call the Hilton at 1-800-HILTONS or 703-528-6000 by September 21, 2008 and request the Coalition for Government Procurement room block in order to receive the discounted room rate of $239 plus tax. The cocktail reception begins at 5:45 PM, and the dinner starts at 7:00 PM. The entire evening ends around 9:30 PM.

A beautiful, personalized award along with recognition throughout the evening. Award winners are displayed in the silent slide show during the cocktail reception, and they collect their award in front of the 400+ attendees. Press releases for the event and the winners will be sent out to major media organizations. Winners will also be listed on the EIP web site at http://www.eipawards.org.

Hors d'oeuvres are served during the cocktail reception, and an elegant three course meal is served during the evening. If an attendee has a diet restriction, the kitchen will provide a vegetarian, alternative meal when requested.
