  • Best Use of Cooperative Purchasing  
    Awarded to the state or local government agency that has made strategic use of schedule contracts in support of their mission.

  • Most Effective Use of FAS in Support of its Critical Mission  
    Awarded to the federal operation, military and civilian agency that, over the past year, has demonstrated the best use of FAS programs to meet the critical needs of the agency mission. This award has two sub categories: DOD and Civilian.

  • Best Use of Small Business
    Awarded to the federal office that has made the best use of small businesses participating in FAS programs, either using small business schedule contractors directly or small business partners working with a large schedule contractor.

  • Loyal User Award
    Awarded to the federal operation that has remained a steadfast supporter of FAS programs over the years. The agency has bought a wide variety of products and services.

  • Lifetime Achievement Award
    Awarded to an agency individual who has worked closely with FAS and FAS contractors to make the FAS programs a success in their agency. Awarded to either a contracting or policy official.

  • Most Innovative Acquisition Center
    Awarded to the acquisition office that has worked closely with its contractor partners to provide innovative solutions to customer needs. The office may have either initiated new programs or promoted existing ones that resulted in overall program growth.

  • Most Effective Contracting Officer
    Awarded to the GSA official who has worked to ensure efficient management of the contracts under his or her administration. This includes the prompt addition of new solutions, timely award of contracts, and ability to answer contractor and customer questions.

  • Most Active Marketing Organization
    Awarded to the marketing group that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to educating customers of the benefits of the schedules program overall and the offerings of their specific area.

  • Best New Negotiator
    Awarded to the new contracting person who has made the biggest impact in terms of understanding the intricacies of the program and applying their newfound knowledge to the effective and efficient administration of schedule contracts.

  • Lifetime Achievement Award
    Awarded to the individual who has spent a career promoting FAS programs and services, meeting the needs of customers, working with contractors, and whose overall contributions have been vital to the success of the programs.

  • Most Valuable Schedule Contractor
    Awarded to the schedule contractor that has worked tirelessly to promote the schedules program, having an outstanding reputation of working with FAS as well as serving the customer’s needs.

  • Most Innovative Small Business
    Awarded to the small business contract holder or dealer who has grown its FAS business, committed itself to FAS, and developed innovative ways to meet customer needs. Open to all small businesses including: service disabled veteran owned, woman owned, veteran owned, 8(a), hubzone, and SBA certified small disadvantaged businesses.

  • Most Successful Newcomer
    Awarded to the new contractor that has had the most significant gain in its schedule business and has made significant contributions to the program overall.

  • Green Contractor Award
    Awarded to the contractor who has made the best overall commitment to the environment by either offering environmentally friendly products and services, or adhering to environmentally sound manufacturing and/or operating procedures.

  • Lifetime Achievement Award
    Awarded to the individual in the contractor community who has dedicated substantial time working with FAS and industry to make FAS programs the success they are today.
